HOST TEAM
The host team(s) must provide six (6) able-bodied workers
(racers or parents are OK) to assist the race crew in setting the course. They must be on the mountain by 7:00 AM
Parents of the host team(s) need to decide who will be
responsible for snack bags, result boards, etc.
The usual procedure on race days is for the race crew and
helpers to start setting the course at first light (7:00 AM). At the end of the day the host team(s) is
responsibility for pulling of the course and the insuring gates and fencing are
returned to their proper places. It is the responsibility of all racers to
assist the host team with slipping and clearing the course at the end of the
race.
The league is charged for broken gates and failure to
return gates and other equipment that we rent from the mountain. If everyone
lends a hand it lightens the workload and makes race day more enjoyable for
all.
